A full house welcomed a memorable new chapter for Imperial International School on 18 July 2026 as students took to the stage for our first-ever musical concert.
Parents and families filled the venue with excitement, offering enthusiastic support as the students brought an inspiring story to life through music, drama and dance.
The concert followed the journey of Fergus, a young boy who was repeatedly told that he did not belong. Despite facing rejection and adversity, he refused to give up, holding firmly to hope and moving forward. His story carried a powerful message about courage, resilience and believing in oneself.
The performance came alive through the collective creativity of our students. Melodic choir performances set the atmosphere, while choral speakers echoed the words of the main characters and added emotional depth to the story.
Song and dance sequences brought further energy to the stage, capturing the audience’s attention with every movement. The confidence, passion and dedication shown by the performers reflected the preparation and teamwork behind the production.
More than an evening of entertainment, Concert 2026 celebrated artistic expression, perseverance and the strong community spirit shared by our students, teachers and families. It also allowed students to discover their talents, build confidence and experience the joy of creating something meaningful together.
The concert ended as a proud milestone for the Imperial community and a reminder of the message at the heart of Fergus’ journey:
“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” — Confucius
