The spirit of unity and celebration came to life at Imperial International School as students and staff marked Hari Raya Aidilfitri under this year’s vibrant theme: “Embracing the Joys of Eid the Malaysian Way.”
The day unfolded with a beautiful tapestry of tradition and festivity. Students showcased their talents through rhythmic pantun recitals and captivating traditional dances, bringing to life the cultural richness of Malaysia’s beloved festival. The sounds of music, applause, and laughter echoed through the school grounds, creating an atmosphere of warmth and celebration.
Adding to the excitement were classic childhood games such as capteh, guli, and batu seremban, which sparked nostalgic joy among many and introduced others to treasured Malaysian pastimes. These activities were more than just fun; they became moments of bonding, bridging generations and backgrounds through shared enjoyment.
The celebration was a meaningful reminder of the values we uphold as a school community — respect, inclusivity, and appreciation for our diverse cultural heritage. It was a chance for everyone to come together, dressed in their festive best, to honour the traditions that shape our Malaysian identity.
From all of us at Imperial, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri! May the blessings of this season continue to inspire joy, kindness, and unity in the days ahead.
