From March 7-9, 2025, students from Imperial International School participated in the highly anticipated Young Leaders Camp held at Outward Bound Malaysia in Lumut. This year’s camp, themed “Navigating Challenges, Creating Change,” offered a range of activities designed to enhance leadership skills and resilience, including jungle orienteering, kayaking, rafting, and rock climbing.
Deputy Principal, Tristan Brendon Tann praised the students’ efforts, stating, “This camp is a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering leadership and resilience among our students. Watching them tackle these challenges with such determination and zeal gives us great hope for the future.”
The camp provided students with hands-on challenges that pushed their physical and mental boundaries. Each activity was not only thrilling but also crafted to develop critical life skills such as teamwork, strategic thinking, and perseverance.
Under the broad skies of Lumut, the participants grew not only in skill but also in confidence, returning with a renewed zeal to lead and make a positive impact in their communities.
Parents have expressed their appreciation for the camp’s impact on their children, with one parent noting, “Well done Imperial staff for providing this opportunity. My child thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.” Another parent added, “The dedication, care, and personal commitment to ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the camp was deeply appreciated.”
Imperial International School continues to commit to providing impactful leadership opportunities such as this camp, aiming to foster the next generation of change-makers.
