Imperial Runners Make Their Mark at MSSD Kinta Utara Cross Country Championship 2025

We are thrilled to announce the commendable achievements of two of our Imperial International School students who competed in the MSSD Kinta Utara Cross Country Run Championship 2025, held on 8–9 April 2025 at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Ipoh. The event brought together young athletes from schools across the district, all determined to push their limits and showcase their stamina, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Representing Imperial with pride and determination were:

Dhaanya Saralathan (Girls Under 15), who conquered the 6km course in 33 minutes and 13 seconds, earning a strong 16th place finish out of 100 participants. Her consistent pacing, mental strength, and never-give-up attitude were truly inspiring.

Yang Dong Chee (PPKI Boys Under 15), who completed the 4km race in an impressive 21 minutes and 55 seconds, placing 6th out of 26 participants. His focus, discipline, and resilience stood out, especially as he competed under the PPKI category, showing that challenges are meant to be overcome.

Their participation and achievements are a testament to the values we uphold at Imperial—commitment, courage, and continuous improvement. Beyond the medals and rankings, these young athletes demonstrated the essence of sports: discipline, endurance, and team spirit.

We are incredibly proud of Dhaanya and Yang Dong Chee for representing our school with such determination and integrity. Their success serves as a reminder that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.
