On 23 June 2025, Imperial International School had the privilege of hosting officers from the Royal Malaysia Police for a powerful and insightful talk on Bullying and Cyberbullying. The session, which took place during the school assembly, was attended by students from Primary and Secondary levels and served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of kindness, responsibility, and digital awareness in today’s world.
The officers addressed various forms of bullying—including physical, verbal, social, and cyberbullying—highlighting their short-term and long-term consequences. Through real-life examples and relatable scenarios, students learned about the legal implications of such behaviour and the emotional harm it can cause to others. The discussion also covered the dangers of online platforms, the permanence of digital footprints, and how students can protect themselves and others in the digital space.
This talk aligns with Imperial’s firm stance that bullying in any form will not be tolerated within our school community. Whether it occurs face-to-face or behind a screen, every student deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported. Our commitment to nurturing a positive school culture is strengthened through partnerships with authorities such as the Royal Malaysia Police, with whom we maintain a strong and collaborative relationship.
We extend our sincere thanks to the visiting officers for their time, dedication, and effort in educating our students. Their presence not only provided valuable insights but also reinforced the notion that students are not alone—they have the support of both the school and the wider community in standing up against harmful behaviour.
At Imperial, we believe education extends beyond academics. Guiding our students to be respectful, informed, and empathetic individuals is central to our mission. Events like these empower our learners to become active participants in building a safe and inclusive environment for all.
