Two of our talented students, Hannah Chang and Sean Chang, recently represented Malaysia at the prestigious Journey to the East ~ 2025 Chinese Taipei Taekwon-Do Championship, held in Taipei. This international tournament brought together participants from eight countries: Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, and New Zealand.

Competing against some of the best young martial artists across the region, Hannah and Sean showcased not only their skills, but also their discipline, determination, and sportsmanship — values we uphold at Imperial International School.

Hannah Chang’s Achievements:

• 🥇 Gold Medal in Individual Pattern (6–7 years, Female, 7–8 Gup)
• 🥈 Silver Medal in Individual Sparring (5–7 years, Female, 7–10 Gup)

Sean Chang’s Achievements:

• 🥈 Silver Medal in Individual Pattern (9–10 years, Male, 5–6 Gup)
• 🥈 Silver Medal in Individual Sparring (7–8 years, Male, 3–6 Gup)

Their outstanding performances on the international stage are a testament to their hard work and dedication. As young ambassadors of our school, they have made us extremely proud, and we are certain this is only the beginning of many more achievements to come.
